Porcelain Veneers in Barre and Three Rivers Massachusetts

Porcelain Veneers Designed To Your Specifications

Porcelain veneers provided at our Barre, MA, practice can transform your smile and overall appearance. These thin porcelain shells are designed to match the natural shape and shade of your teeth. Dr. Robert Rapisarda applies veneers to the front surfaces of teeth to conceal surface blemishes, inconsistent shaping, and minor gaps between teeth. Dr. Rapisarda will involve you in the design of your veneers to ensure long-term satisfaction. He offers both traditional and minimal-prep veneers, and he works with renowned dental labs to guarantee the best results.

"Dr. Rapisarda believes in giving you a high level of control over your treatment so that you can achieve precisely the look you desire."

Are You A Candidate For Porcelain Veneers?

Porcelain veneers may be recommended if you wish to address:

  • Chipped or cracked teeth
  • Small gaps between teeth
  • Severe stains, especially intrinsic discoloration
  • Worn, unusually small, or irregularly shaped teeth

Dr. Rapisarda offers both traditional and minimal-prep veneers. Traditional veneers require some alteration of the tooth, while minimal-prep veneers require significantly less alteration if any.

Depending on the size and shape of your teeth, as well as your goals, Dr. Rapisarda can recommend the right kind of veneer for your needs. A dental crown may be recommended if a veneer cannot adequately mask the imperfection you wish to address.

Detail-Oriented Design And Placement

Knowing that his patients’ beautiful smiles are the primary representation of his practice, Dr. Rapisarda holds his work to very high standards. He will begin veneers treatment with an in-depth consultation. Dr. Rapisarda believes in giving you a high level of control over your treatment so that you can achieve the exact look that you desire. He will begin by reviewing our smile design books with you.

These books demonstrate various tooth shapes and how they look with diverse facial structures.

You are welcome to bring in a spouse or family member to provide an opinion as you choose the look that meets your goals.

Our lab will create a wax-up of your unique design. That way, you can view a three-dimensional image of what your smile will look like after treatment. Next, the lab technicians will create a mold in polyvinyl. They will use this mold to fabricate your temporary veneers. When the temporaries are finished, Dr. Rapisarda will prepare your teeth. He always works conservatively, and he will remove the minimum amount of tissue necessary to accommodate the veneer.

You will wear your temporary veneers for a week. When this initial period is over, you can request changes, either to the fit or to the appearance of the restorations. After making any necessary adjustments, Dr. Rapisarda will send photos and your impressions to a dental lab. We proudly work with the Aurum Group® and MicroDental Laboratories, which are both renowned for their consistently excellent work. When your permanent veneers are finished, Dr. Rapisarda will carefully attach them to your teeth.

Benefits Of Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are a highly popular cosmetic treatment, in part because they can address multiple issues at once. If you want to achieve a dramatic smile transformation, veneers can be an excellent solution. We proudly use advanced forms of porcelain that offer a slight translucence for a lifelike sparkle. Therefore, your veneers will be virtually indistinguishable from natural dental enamel. Meanwhile, veneers are strong and durable. With proper care, they could last ten years or more.
